Next Sunday:  Morning Worship at 11.00am.


Paisley Christian Aid Committee are holidng a display entitled "We are all Connected" on Saturday 25th October from 10am to 4pm in our halls.  Tickets priced £2 for adults (free for children) are available from Lesley Steel.  Tickets include tea/coffee and home baking.  Our own Guild will be running the tearoom.  Donations of home baking will be gratefully received.  These can be handed in at the halls from 7pm on Friday 24th October or on the Saturday morning.  This promises to be an interesting and informative event.


Adult Education and Mission Committee are having a Bread and Cheese lunch on Sunday 26th October with proceeds to Christian Aid.  Collection boxes for members will be available next Sunday to fill with coins.


Trinity - all articles for inclusion in the December 2008 issue of Trinity magazine should be in the hands of the editor, Jean Christie, no later than Sunday 2nd November.


Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP):  OTC is a member of the LEP and we are hosting a meeting in the Wynd on 1st November.  The event is to be called "Threads".  Bookings close on 30th September and we host to have a good representation from OTC.  There will be a creche facility and the day will cost £5.  Copies of the booking form can be obtained from the Church Office.


Bible Study:  The Committee has looked at the material called "Vision 4 Life", prepared by the United Reformed Church.  The booklets are based on a variety of topics:  transformed by the Bible; transformed for evangelism; transformed through prayer.  We are holding a series of discussion groups, the venue will be announced later.  Each discussion wgroup will last for one evening over four consecutive weeks and the dates for the first series will be: 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November - all at 7.30pm.  The first topic will be "transformed by the Bible".
