Holidays:  The Rev. Hutton Steel is on holiday from 7th to 21st July.  If anyone is in need of a minister please contact Rev.  Elizabeth Malaney on 01560 484552 or the Church Office.  While Hutton is on holiday both services will be taken by Rev. Elizabeth Malaney.

Oakshaw Explorers:The next outing is to Loch Katrine on Saturday 26th July.  Apart from exploring, why not enjoy a sail on the Sir Walter Scott?  We leave from the church car park at 9.30am.

Annual Bowling Match:  Will be held at Priorscroft Bowling Club on Sunday 27th July at 2.00pm for 2.15pm.  Please append your name on the list in the vestibule table.  All welcome - any queries please speak to Sheena or Jimmy Clark.

Adult Education and Mission Committee:

The General Assembly of the URC opens on 11th July.  A young people's gathering will be held on 8th-11th.  An Annual Report will be available for anyone wishing to ready it.  Further information on notice board.

Local Ecumenical Partnership meets on 1st November in the Wynd.  There will be a creche facility and the day will cost £5.  Anyone interested in a place please contact Catriona at the Church Office.  Bookings close 30th September.

Wynd Coffee Shop:  Due to volunteers being on holiday there is a need for help over the next few weeks, particularly Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.   If you can help please contact John Stewart or the Wynd Office.
