&lt;div&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Today:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;  Optional Communion after the service.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Next Sunday:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;  Morning Worship at 10.50am include an Act of Remembrance.  &lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Sunday School Children&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt; are reminded to go straight to the halls.  Also the children will be baking and this will be on sale after the service.  All proceeds to Children in Need.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Christian Aid:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;  Many thanks to those who supported the Christian Aid exhibition on 25th October and the bread and cheese lunch.  The lunch raised £260 for Christian Aid.  Collection boxes are available for members to fill with coins, to be returned by 21st December 2008.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Bible Study:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt; The first group based on Vision 4 Life will be &lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Transformed by the Bible&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt; and will be held on Wednesday 5th November at 7.30pm in the Wynd.  The first evening will be led by Rev. Hutton Steel.  Members and their friends are invited to attend all four or as many as they can manage.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Paisley Christian Aid Committee &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;are holidng a display entitled &amp;quot;We are all Connected&amp;quot; on Saturday 25th October from 10am to 4pm in our halls.  Tickets priced £2 for adults (free for children) are available from Lesley Steel.  Tickets include tea/coffee and home baking.  Our own Guild will be running the tearoom.  Donations of home baking will be gratefully received.  These can be handed in at the halls from 7pm on Friday 24th October or on the Saturday morning.  This promises to be an interesting and informative event.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Next Sunday:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;  Morning Worship at 11.00am.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Paisley Christian Aid Committee &lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;are holidng a display entitled &amp;quot;We are all Connected&amp;quot; on Saturday 25th October from 10am to 4pm in our halls.  Tickets priced £2 for adults (free for children) are available from Lesley Steel.  Tickets include tea/coffee and home baking.  Our own Guild will be running the tearoom.  Donations of home baking will be gratefully received.  These can be handed in at the halls from 7pm on Friday 24th October or on the Saturday morning.  This promises to be an interesting and informative event.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Adult Education and Mission Committee&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt; are having a Bread and Cheese lunch on Sunday 26th October with proceeds to Christian Aid.  Collection boxes for members will be available next Sunday to fill with coins.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;b&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP):&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style=&quot;font-weight: normal;&quot;&gt; OTC is a member of the LEP and we are hosting a meeting in the Wynd on 1st November.  The event is to be called &amp;quot;Threads&amp;quot;.  Bookings close on 30th September and we host to have a good representation from OTC.  There will be a creche facility and the day will cost £5.  Copies of the booking form can be obtained from the Church Office.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Bible Study&lt;/span&gt;:  &lt;span style=&quot;font-weight: normal;&quot;&gt;The Committee has looked at the material called &amp;quot;Vision 4 Life&amp;quot;, prepared by the United Reformed Church.  The booklets are based on a variety of topics:  transformed by the Bible; transformed for evangelism; transformed through prayer.  We are holding a series of discussion groups, the venue will be announced later.  Each discussion wgroup will last for one evening over four consecutive weeks and the dates for the first series will be: 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November - all at 7.30pm.  The first topic will be &amp;quot;transformed by the Bible&amp;quot;. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
