• The Centre is the outreach arm of Oakshaw Trinity Church 
• The idea for The Wynd started in the early 80s by the former St John’s Church. 
• Plans drawn up in 1983. 
• First phase operational in 1984. 
• Further upgraded after the union of the four churches on the Hill
• Current building (former St John’s Church) was opened by HRH Princess Anne in 2001.

• The Centre provides counselling services for all ages, midweek free tea and toast, short services. 
• The facilities are used by local organisations and businesses.
• The West of Scotland campus for the Highland Theological college is situated in the Centre 
• The Centre looks forward to playing its part in the renovation of Paisley Town Centre
